HME,
When my daughter was born with trisomy 13 we lived in Ruidoso but we delivered her in Albuquerque. She was at Presbyterian and UNM until she was 6 weeks old. The Drs told us we could not move to rural NM with a child with a trach. We rented a house in Abq for three months and then finally decided we could live back in Carrizozo with my parents. Once we started trying to get home equipment in Carrizozo and Ruidoso it became impossible. No one wanted to service us out there with pediatric supplies. I was on the phone 7 hours a day for two weeks before I met Natalie from HME out of Las Cruces. She truly became my guardian angle. She helped me with the insurances and all the necessary hoops to finally get to bring my daughter home from Abq.
Once we got to Carrizozo, HME about of Roswell was amazing. Holly, the RT, even gave me her cell phone so if I had an emergency I could contact her. Every month I have received all my necessary supplies.
Holly and HME have helped me get scripts through for my daughter. They have truly helped navigate this crazy process. I’ve read so many trach parents stories on Facebook about horrible DME companies. We are so blessed to have Holly and HME as our providers.
Thanks for helping me keep my child healthy and safe.
